Hmmm. . . what’d ya wanna know?
I am a recent college graduate and fledgling costume designer/make-up artist who’s just relocated to San Francisco. I enjoy cooking vegetarian food, vintage cinema and clothing, good times with friends old and new, and attempting to play the ukulele. I am adverse to bad cell phone manners, hipster clothing that is trying too hard, and cheap liquor.
Oh, and I have an incurable case of wanderlust.
My purpose in keeping this blog is to flex my muscles as a travel writer. If I am on a trip I will share it with you here! If I am not actively traveling, which will probably be the case more often than not as my wallet won’t allow it right now, I will reminisce about old adventures here and republish old travel emails and journal entries. If I can work on planning a trip, I will share the process with you.
For those looking to get something out of reading these cyber pages, I hope to give you whatever pearls of wisdom I have acquired in my humble pursuit of new places and cultures. For those of you looking for travel tips on a budget, you’ve come to the right place! I am a frugal person, especially when traveling, but I don’t let my cheapness get in the way of new experience. I can tell you when to spend and when to save, and how to tailor your budget to get the most authentic possible experience on the tightest dollar.
